xt:Commerce is based on open-source technology and is freely available under the Gnu Public Licence. All versions, revisions and updates of xt:Commerce are available at no cost. The entire source code is available, so that we are always able to adapt the system to suit our client's needs.

The shop system is based on the following technologies:

• PHP4.1.3 and higher
• MySQL database
• Smarty template engine for flexible layout adaptation
• SQL caching for enhanced performance thanks to minimisation of database requests
• SSL connection for secure data transfer (requires an SSL certificate)

Extensive functionalit
xt:Commerce offers an excellent range of professional features as standard. The most important functions are: marketing and business administration, product and category administration, customer functions, administration tools, a standard payment module, an integrated delivery module, etc.

 

Monitoring with landmarks
A landmark-based controlling system enables you to measure search requests, shopping basket cancellations and the success of individual articles. Your shop's effectiveness becomes transparent and any errors can be quickly identified and corrected. The monitoring system can be expanded to include individual reports at any time.

 

Extended functionality
The range of standard features of the xt:Commerce system can be expanded with optional add-on modules, known as contributions. These modules are developed by various service providers and can be purchased separately. New additional functions for xt:Commerce are being constantly developed; furthermore, ISA Internet Service Agentur can develop specific functions on request.
